Piedmont softball postpones December Camp due to weather

DEMOREST, Ga. – The Piedmont College Softball program has postponed its December 1st camp due to inclement weather that is expected to pass through the area.

The camp has been moved to Saturday, January 12th, and registration will be reopened for limited spots due to rescheduling. Piedmont will host the one-day camp and will be coached by the Piedmont coaching staff and Piedmont players.

The camp, which is intended for freshman through seniors in high school, is designed for players to develop their skills in all aspects of the game. The coaching staff will be on hand to demonstrate and instruct not only the basics, but also more advanced areas of the game.

The one-day camp will provide each camper the opportunity to show their skill in all aspects of hitting, fielding, base running and live game situations. Campers are asked to bring all softball gear (including tennis shoes) and something to eat and drink.

The cost of the camp will be $125 (cash only) and will run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pitchers and Catchers will register and begin at 10:00 am and all other position players will register and begin at 10:30 AM.
