Piedmont Singers to present ‘Illuminata’ in Fall Concert Nov. 9

The Piedmont College Singers’ Fall Concert will feature choral works from the 17th to the 21st century in a program entitled “Illuminata.”

The free concert will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, in the Chapel at 992 Central Avenue on the Piedmont campus in Demorest.

Directed by Dr. Wallace Hinson and accompanied by Louise Bass on the Sewell Organ, the 48 members of the Piedmont Singers will perform works involving the theme of “light” by Anthony Bernarducci, William Harris, Juan de Araujo, Jonathan Dove, Henry Balfour Gardiner, and Daniel Elder, and others.

Members of the Piedmont Singers include sopranos: Lorna Ayon, Diana Cleland, Virginia Cleveland, Savanah Danford, Kaitlyn Echols, Chelsea Gittens, Chelsea Harris, Sarah Jones, Rosie Miles, Kassie Mills, Paige Mullen, Aubrey Peat, Sydney Schuster, Hope Wells, and Brittney Wilder; altos: Jordan Approbato, Callie Adcox, Chandler Allen, Kayleigh Banks, Alex Beatty, Ulrika Bremberg, Kaitlin Conner, Cali Duncan, Kristen Ellison, Ansleigh Harrison, JoAnna Hansen, Rebekah James, Emma Liston, and Jordan Williams; tenors: Amin Abraham-Quiles, William Akins, Hunter Blackburn, Chance Dudley, Brandon Fox, Andrew Gale, Zach Morgan, Chance Passmore, and Tyler Vandiver; and basses: Toni Atoa, Dashawn Crawford, Nicholas Knox, Cole Martin, Jacob McVey, Aleek Reed, Dakota Stockton, Luke Tanner, Adam Weisheit, and Bailey White.
