Finale’: Review of Show
There is no doubt to any actor, that Stephen Sondheim has created some of the best music, musical theatre has to offer. Not only is the music great to sing , but it is also very challenging and takes a great vocal musician to do it well. Each and every performer part of Piedmont College’s Opera Workshop did a fine job performing pieces that even some professional actors would rather not attempt. Sondheim is known for making the singer work hard to convey the powerful messages he has to deliver and I believe that the students at Piedmont College accomplished just that.
