Professor offers unique perspective on immigrant issue
Dr. Christoph Singer, a professor of English Studies, Literature and Culture at the University of Paderborn, Germany, will present a talk titled “Those Who Wait: German Art and the ‘Refugee Crisis,’” at 2 p.m., Monday, March 13, at the Piedmont College Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art in Demorest.
Singer will present a look at public responses in Germany to the influx of immigrants as shown in contemporary photography, videos, and music.
The event is free and the public is invited.
