Mary Bess Skinner of Rome receives her diploma from Piedmont College President James F. Mellichamp during Commencement ceremonies held Dec. 10 at the campus in Demorest. Skinner, who earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business, was one of 221 undergraduate and graduate students receiving degrees on Saturday.
The Commencement speaker was Susan Smith-Patrick, Professor of Education at Piedmont and the 2016 recipient of the Vulcan Teaching Excellence Award.
