The USA South Athletic Conference has released the December Plays of the Month for men’s basketball with Piedmont’s TRAE GAINES featured for denying a shot in the Lions’ 81-67 victory over Oglethorpe.

The USA South Athletic Conference announces its plays of the month highlights during the first week of each month highlighting accomplishments by student-athletes from the previous month. Each school is given the opportunity to submit two plays to be featured.

(FAYETTEVILLE, NC) – The USA South Athletic Conference has released its 2016-17 Men’s Basketball December Plays of the Month. Each month, the institutions sponsoring men’s basketball in the USA South are welcome to submit up to two clips to be featured as a top play of the month.
For the month of December, Covenant College, Greensboro College, Maryville College and Piedmont College chose to submit clips to be included in the “Men’s Basketball December Top Plays”. Next month, the Conference will once again give the institutions an opportunity to showcase their men’s basketball programs and student-athletes through this initiative.
