Demorest, GA – The Piedmont College men’s and women’s basketball programs have set the 2015 summer camp lineup with a week of day camp scheduled for June 22-25 with two different offerings based on age groups.
Campers ages 7-10 will have the morning time slot, 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, while campers ages 11-17 will have the afternoon time slot, 1:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Both sessions will take place during the week of June 22-25 in Piedmont’s Johnny Mize Athletic Center located on the Demorest campus.
Campers will receive top-notch instruction from both basketball head coaches at Piedmont College. The camp is designed to serve the needs of beginning and advanced players. Campers can expect to work on basketball fundamentals including shooting, passing, dribbling, screening, moving without the ball, post moves, defense, and rebounding. Campers will also participate in skill competitions, 5-on-5 games, and be exposed to some of the workouts that student-athletes at Piedmont College experience.
Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and prizes will be given to winners of camp contests. Campers will also be invited to be recognized at a specific Piedmont College home game next season.
The cost of the Summer Camp is $90 per camper. For multiple siblings from the same immediate family, there is a $10 discount per camper. Walk-ups are welcome but the deadline to signup and still receive a t-shirt is June 15th. No refunds will be provided, but campers may find a substitute for their reservation.
