The Piedmont College Camerata chamber ensemble will present a free concert at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 25, in the Chapel on the Demorest campus.
The ensemble includes Heather Baird-Strachan, violin; Rachael Fischer, violin; Scott Garrett, viola; David Peyton, cello; and Jeri-Mae G. Astolfi, piano. The performance will also include special guests, James F. Mellichamp, piano; and Bob Glass, commentator.
The group will perform the “Quintet in E-flat Major for Piano and Winds” by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, arranged for piano and strings; “Sonata for Piano Duet and String Quartet” by Jerome Moross; and “Quintet for Piano and Strings in G Minor” by Dmitri Shostakovich.
