Patricia L. Thomas, age 67, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went to her heavenly home on Monday, June 3, 2024.
Mrs. Thomas was born on April 4, 1957, in North Carolina to the late Quinton and Alene Teague Lankford. She was of the Christian Faith. Patricia always went above and beyond for her family and for those who were important to her. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply, and in addition to raising her family, she also raised members of her family as if they were her own children. She will be remembered as a loving wife, a wonderful mother and grandmother, and the best sister you could have.
Survivors include her loving husband of 29 years, Kevin Thomas, of Clarkesville; daughter, Bridget Jones, of Lula; son, Keith Herring, of Augusta; step-daughter, Allison Swaim, of Braselton; Tiffany King, of Braselton; sister and brother-in-law, Johnnie and Jimmy Wright, of Alto; grandchildren, Mercedes Bethune, of Lula; Madison Bethune, of Clarkesville; Destiny Ayers, of Alto; McKayla Welborn, of Braselton; Brianna Welborn, of Braselton; David Odum, of Braselton; Cody Ramey, of Braselton; Zach Ramey, of Braselton; special great-grandchildren, Michael Bethune, Leanna Bethune; and several nieces and nephews.
A Private Family Service will be held at a later date.
