Patricia Ann Ausborn Murray, age 71 of Carnesville, passed away Monday, January, 19, 2015, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Born in Banks County on August 11, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Plumer “Duck” Ausborn and Ola Mae Brady Ausborn. Mrs. Murray was retired from Ethicon with 28 years of service and she was a member of Prospect United Methodist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed time with her grandchildren, cross-word puzzles, and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Junior Murray; son, Dale Murray; brothers, Wilburn, Deward, and Young Ausborn.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, Kimsey & Souly Murray of Carnesville; daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth & David Thurmond of Carnesville; brothers, Roger Ausborn and Morris Ausborn both of Toccoa; sisters, Carolyn Turpin of Carnesville & Gail McFarlin and Glenda Sutton both of Toccoa; grandchildren, D.J., B.J., Starr, and Hailie Thurmond, Becky Boulineau, and Kemberlee Murray; great grandchildren, Christian and Lillian; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 21, 2014, at the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin & Stewart with Rev. Gary Ledford and Rev. David Ledford officiating.
Interment will follow in the Murray-Jackson Cemetery in Banks County.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2-4 & 6-9 pm on Tuesday.
