The Habersham County Parks and Recreation Department is adjusting the hours of operation at the Ruby Fulbright Aquatic Center (commonly referred to as ‘The Ruby’). Effective Monday, August 7, all amenities within the aquatic center will be available on the same schedule.
The new operating hours will be 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
Under the new schedule, the facilities will open a half hour earlier on weekdays and one hour earlier on weekends. Closing hours will remain the same.
The hours of operation are subject to change throughout the year based on holidays, maintenance requirements, or special events, a press release from the county states.
The Ruby C. Fulbright Aquatic Center offers the following amenities:
- Lap pool;
- recreational/therapy pool;
- fitness center;
- indoor walking;
- gymnasiums for basketball, pickleball, and volleyball;
- locker rooms and showers.
