Habersham County Sheriff’s Office deputies and Emergency Services personnel responded to J. Warren Road at Wilmers Way near Revive Church Monday afternoon to an overturned vehicle wreck.

First responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after 12 p.m. by a caller stating that a pickup truck had overturned in the roadway with four occupants. First responders would not confirm how many occupants there were or the extent of their injuries other than to say “the occupants were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.”

J. Warren Road was temporarily closed for about an hour while law enforcement investigated the wreck, and the vehicle was uprighted and towed away.

Georgia State Patrol is investigating.

This makes the sixth serious accident Habersham County first responders have been dispatched to since Friday. Other recent accidents include a serious injury wreck on GA 255 outside Batesville, a single-vehicle crash on GA 365, and a two-vehicle collision at the J Warren Road intersection.

A rollover wreck early Sunday, Nov. 3, on GA 197 North temporarily shut down the highway, but according to deputies, no one was injured.
