Fire investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed an outbuilding near a Lula residence Thursday afternoon.
On July 06, at 1:10 p.m., units from Banks County Fire and Emergency Services Responded to 277 Railroad Avenue on a reported structure
When firefighters arrived, they found an outbuilding next to a residence heavily involved with fire.
“The residence was covered to prevent the spread of the fire, and the building was quickly extinguished,” says Banks County Fire Chief Steve Nichols. “The building is listed as a total loss.”
According to Nichols, no one was home at the time of the fire, and no injuries were reported.
The Banks County Fire Department is investigating the cause of the fire.
