The VFW Ladies Auxiliary is sponsoring an Open Mic Night benefit fundraiser for veterans.
Open Mic Night is scheduled for this coming Saturday, Feb. 21, from 2-8pm at the Grant Reeves VFW Post 7720 in Cornelia.
If you would like to perform or volunteer, please call Frances Meeks at 706-969-0627 or just show up on the day of the event. The post is located at 432 VFW Post Road (just past the Murphy Express gas station and McGahee Griffin and Stewart Funeral Home).
Admission is $5. There will be concessions, door prizes and a silent auction. No alcohol allowed.
All proceeds will go to help veterans pay for medical needs and services not covered by their VA benefits.
