At least one person was injured this morning in a two-vehicle wreck in Baldwin, according to authorities.
Habersham County Emergency Services, along with Baldwin’s fire and police departments, responded just after 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14, to the collision between a compact SUV and a rollback truck towing a trailer on GA 365 at Wilbanks Road.
Authorities say northbound traffic on GA 365 was “minimally impacted” until the driver of the passenger vehicle was extricated by fire and medical personnel. An injured driver was transported to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville following the incident.
Georgia State Patrol, as well as the Georgia Department of Public Safety Motor Carrier Compliance Division, is investigating the accident.
