A single-vehicle rollover crash on Mize Road near Smith Road in Stephens County that injured one person Thursday, May 8, led to the arrest of one of the driver.
Emergency crews from Toccoa police, GSP, local fire services and EMS responded to the scene in Toccoa, where they found a vehicle overturned. Police say one occupant sustained minor injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The driver, whose identity has not yet been released, was taken into custody at the scene by GSP. Authorities say charges are pending as the investigation continues.
Both lanes of Mize Road, which had been temporarily closed following the accident, reopened around 1:30 p.m.
