It was a massive money haul for the Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad in Gainesville. In a drug bust on Friday, they seized approximately $9,900 in illegal drugs and $235,000 in cash.
MANS Task Force agents arrested 23-year-old Tommy Van Luc of Gainsville. According to task force Sgt. Paul House, Luc had multiple drugs in his possession, including approximately two pounds of marijuana, four ounces of THC wax, three vials of THC oil, and 50 doses of LSD.
Agents located and seized the cash from his home in the 3400 block of Dockside Shores Drive in Hall County. They also found packaging materials, a ledger, and money counter.
Luc was booked into the Hall County Jail for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of THC oil with intent to distribute, and possession of LSD with intent to distribute.
No more arrests are expected in this case.
The MANS Unit is made up of a combination of Hall County Sheriff’s Office employees and officers from the Gainesville Police Department.
