The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating three runaway teens.
On Sunday, April 27, Christopher “CJ” Brooks, Maddix Waterbuck, and Riley Swinsord ran away from the Eagle Overlook treatment facility near the Lumpkin-Hall County line. The sheriff’s office says the boys are traveling on foot.
While they have not been located, officials believe the trio could be headed toward Athens or Augusta.
There is special concern for Swinsord, who is a Type I Diabetic and has not had insulin in over 12 hours, putting him at medical risk, the sheriff’s office says.
