North Main Credit Union (NMCU), formerly Ethicon Credit Union, will hold an open house March 14-16 at its new office located at 255 North Main Street in Cornelia. The event will provide an opportunity for individuals to stop by and learn more about membership and the financial services the credit union offers.
The open house is scheduled from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. March 14th and 16th and from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on March 15th.
NMCU now serves Habersham County residents and their families, in addition to the existing membership base comprised of Ethicon campus employees.
“It’s an amazing opportunity for Habersham County and for the credit union and community to prosper together,” says NMCU CEO Melany Ward. “We look forward to working closely with both our current and potential members, while providing sound financial products and services, and building a brand image from within that reflects who we truly are at North Main.”
North Main Credit Union offers a variety of financial products and services including consumer loans, credit cards, mortgages, checking and savings accounts, Certificates of Deposit, and IRA’s. Conveniences such as ATM machines and debit cards are also available. NMCU also offers certified financial budgeting and counselors to assist with “Helping People Afford Life”.
Like all credit unions, North Main operates as a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative.
