If you’d like to nominate someone to receive this year’s Habersham Central High School Lifetime Achievement Award, you’d better get to it – the nomination deadline is approaching.
Now in its second year, the award recognizes the outstanding professional achievements of Habersham Central alumni. It also aims to inspire current students to aim high and work hard to achieve their goals.
To be eligible, nominees must have graduated from Habersham Central between 1970-1996. Their work must demonstrate a significant impact at the local, state, and/or national level.
The recipient will be honored during the Class of 2021 graduation ceremony. A photo and professional biography of the recipient will be displayed at Habersham Central.
Pediatric oncologist Dr. H. Stacy Nicholson received the inaugural HCHS Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020. Nicholson is a 1977 alum of HCHS.
