Independent Georgia brewery NoFo Brew Co will soon open a new location in Cleveland following the announcement that it is acquiring the assets of Tantrum Brewing.
“We’re excited to purchase the former location of Tantrum Brewing,” said Shannon Miles, Co-Founder of NoFO Brew Co. “It’s a beautiful location in a charming area of North Georgia. We look forward to meeting new friends in Cleveland and in the surrounding areas that we will be serving at this location.”
The 10,000-square-foot building located on Helen Highway will be the brewery’s third location in three years.
Since its opening in March 2018, Tantrum Brewing has been known in the area as a family-owned and operated brewery.
“[We’ve] been grateful for the opportunity to have built a space that has proven to provide much-needed community gathering and engagement,” said Ross Crumpton, CEO of Tantrum Brewing Company. “We will forever appreciate the support we have received from friends, patrons, and the community of North Georgia.”
In September 2019, NoFo Brew Co opened its first location in the Forsyth County town of Cumming. Its name is a nod to North Forsyth where it started. This summer, NoFo will open a place off the Midland Greenway in Gainesville in addition to its new Cleveland location.
