No shave November in White County for South Enotah Child Advocacy

No Shave November is here for White County Sheriff's Deputies to benefit The South Enotah Child Advocacy Center. (White County Sheriff's Office)

The White County Sheriff’s Deputies are paying to grow facial hair in November. It is against the policy of the Sheriff’s Office for Deputies to have facial hair, but for a good cause, deputies are paying to have a ‘No Shave November’ to help the South Enotah Child Advocacy Center.

The Center in White County, GA, offers services and training for children and their families. The 3000-square-foot building is a place for the community to educate parents, teachers, and children. Forensic interviews, counseling, evaluations, visitations, and more are held at the facility.

All the proceeds collected will be donated to the South Enotah Child Advocacy Center. This is a non-profit agency that assists juvenile victims.

If you would like to learn more about the South Enotah Child Advocacy Center, you can visit their website. There is a section called ‘What You Can Do’ if you are interested in helping as well.

So, if you are curious as to why the White County Sheriff’s Deputies have a tad more facial hair than usual, remember it is all for a good cause.
