An early morning blaze in East Hall County Thursday destroyed a vacant residence, fire officials say.
At approximately 1:30 a.m., Hall County Fire Rescue responded to the 4100 block of Cedar Creek Road for reports of a residential fire. Firefighters arrived to find the small single-story house fully engulfed in flames.
“Due to the size of the fire, personnel extinguished the flames from the exterior of the structure,” says Hall County Fire Rescue Public Information Office Kimberlie Ledsinger.
Firefighters said the house appeared vacant. They confirmed that during a primary search of the premises.
No one was injured in the fire. The building was a total loss.
The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation by the Hall County Fire Marshal’s Office.
