No foul play suspected in death of Dahlonega woman found in Stephens County

The investigation continues into the death of a Dahlonega woman whose body was found near Lake Hartwell over the weekend.

A family out walking their dog discovered the body of 64-year-old Pamela Bellamy on Broken Bridges the morning of Jan. 4.

Friends say Bellamy was the owner of Acupuncture Dahlonega and used to have an office in Sautee.

Investigators believe Bellamy traveled to the Stephens County Boat Ramp and Park either late Friday or early Saturday morning.

Authorities have ruled out foul play, according to FOX Carolina.

Officials transported Bellamy’s body to the GBI Crime Lab in Atlanta. An autopsy will be conducted to determine her exact cause of death.
