Nine athletic teams from Tallulah Falls School received Region 8A Sportsmanship Awards for the 2015-16 year.
The TFS teams were: girls cross country, boys cross country, boys basketball (4-way tie), girls golf (tie), boys golf (tie), girls tennis, boys tennis, girls track (tie), and boys track. Winners are determined by a vote of the region coaches.
TFS Athletic Director Scott Neal responded, “We appreciate the recognition by our competitive friends in Region 8A. Our desire is for GREAT character to be evident in all that we do, whether in service or in performance.”
“We also seek for our student athletes to filter distractions from the core of importance, to give grace while holding ourselves and each other accountable to the ideals we seek as a team. I’m proud of these coaches who lead in life skills and for our athletes who not only follow this lead, but add to it.”
