T.A. & Dayle Fowler of Clarkesville browse the art auction at last year’s Night of Grace. The annual fundraiser benefits Grace Gate, a free medical clinic in Demorest.
Grace Gate, a clinic that has served Habersham County’s medical underserved for more than 10 years, will hold its annual Night of Grace dinner on Friday, January 27. This year’s event takes place at Piedmont College’s Student Commons Building from 6-8 pm. In addition to a great meal, those in attendance can expect to enjoy live music and art pieces for auction.
Local musicians Don Bagwell and Nelson Payne will entertain attendees while they enjoy a fully catered meal. Supporters will also have the opportunity to bid on various pieces from local artists, including canvasses, jewelry, ceramics and pottery.
The clinic uses the evening each year to celebrate along with its supporters and volunteers all that Grace Gate has done to make health care available to those in our community. The event is also an opportunity to honor those that work countless hours for the success of Grace Gate.
Single tickets for the event are available, as well as tables of eight. The organizers are still accepting local art donations.
To purchase tickets or make a donation to Grace Gate, contact volunteer and event organizer Holly Borrow at [email protected] or the clinic by phone (706) 839-4080.
A non-profit, Christ-centered, free medical clinic, Grace Gate began in 2005. No fees are collected for the services provided at Grace Gate. The clinic operates solely on donations with funds coming from area churches, individuals and charitable groups; Grace Gate is a partner agency of the United Way of Habersham County.
