New recruits to North Georgia Technical College (NGTC) will now get a chance to celebrate their college choice with their families. NGTC is launching Signing Days this year. High school seniors who plan to attend NGTC in the fall are invited to attend.
The college will hold signing ceremonies at each of its three campuses. During the ceremonies, the college will recognize high school seniors by their program of choice. Students will then sign a letter of intent to attend NGTC in the fall.
NGTC President Dr. Mark Ivester says Signing Days are all about celebrating students who choose to pursue a technical skills education. “These students will be career ready in a very short time, and we will continue to celebrate their successes from enrollment to graduation to job placement,” he says.
Signing Days schedule
Signing ceremonies are scheduled for high school seniors from the following schools on the following days:
Franklin County and Stephens County High School: Monday, April 22 at 4:30 p.m. at the NGTC Currahee Campus.
