North Georgia Technical College announces the appointment of two new board members to the 2017 Board of Directors. Rope Roberts and Kennon Yori, both of Habersham County, were sworn in as board members by the Honorable Judge Chan Caudell at the September board of directors meeting.
J.E. (Rope) Roberts has been serving as the region community & economic development manager for Georgia Power since 1995. He serves on the Business Advisory Councils for the University of North Georgia and North Georgia Technical College and is an instructor for the Georgia Academy of Economic Development.
Kennon Yori is currently serving as the director of operations for three plants within the Ethicon, Inc. family, including the plant based in Cornelia, Ga. She has a bachelor of science degree in chemical engineering from Mississippi State University and has been working in manufacturing and engineering for over 20 years.
