NGTC Partners with Pharma Tech Industries to teach Six Sigma Certification

North Georgia Technical College partnered with Pharma Tech Industries in Royston to offer the Six Sigma Program, a set of quality techniques and tools for process improvement.

Pharma Tech Industries had employees complete the green belt certification, which consisted of 40 hours of classroom and hands-on performance. The class was conducted by North Georgia Technical College instructor William Frazier.

The course is one of many customized training programs NGTC offers through its economic development department. Some of the most frequently delivered programs include quality ISO and lean manufacturing, safety, maintenance, computers, CPR and first aid, customer service, workplace Spanish and management.
