North Georgia Technical College will move all instruction online for all three campuses beginning March 23 due to COVID-19 precautions. All face-to-face classes continue to be suspended and activities for students and guests are postponed.

Students will receive emailed instructions regarding their classwork from their instructors, so students are asked to check their student email daily.

For students without computers or online access, the NGTC libraries on the Clarkesville, Currahee and Blairsville campuses will be available to a minimum number of students from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday, beginning March 23. These hours are subject to change.

Only essential employees will report to campus beginning March 17, and faculty and staff will telecommute as much as possible.

“The health and safety of the students, faculty, and staff are always the college’s primary concern,” says Vice-President of Community and College Relations. “The college’s COVID-19 response team continues to monitor the situation and will communicate changes as soon as possible.”

Updates will be announced on the NGTC Facebook page or at northgatech.edu.
