The North Georgia Technical College Foundation provides scholarships for students with documented financial need. Foundation scholarships assist with tuition, fees and required classroom equipment.
General scholarships are awarded every semester and are open to students enrolled in any program on any NGTC campus. In addition, at the beginning of Fall Semester, the Foundation awards several scholarships which are available to students enrolled in specific programs. These include: Agriculture Scholarship, CHSGa LPN Scholarship (practical nursing), Dan Dixon Technical Career Award (any technical trade program), Fulbright Work Ethic Award (any technical trade program), McCurry Memorial Welding Scholarship, Catherine McGuire RN Scholarship (Associate of Science in Nursing), NGTC Alumni Scholarship (relative of an NGTC graduate), Phillips Criminal Justice Scholarship, Savage Innovator Award (any program), Seabees Scholarship (Construction Trades), Kyle Glenn Holcombe Memorial Scholarship (Electrical Lineworker) and Stovall Machine Products Scholarship (CNC Program).
In addition to scholarships, the NGTC Foundation also maintains a lending library which provides assistance with books to students with a documented financial need.
The deadline to apply for all Foundation Scholarships is July 20th.
