(Blairsville) – The 13th Annual Big Bridge Party to benefit the North Georgia Technical College Foundation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2015, in the Conference Center on the Currahee Campus. The day of fun will kick-off at 11:30 a.m. with guests enjoying a delicious lunch prepared by NGTC Culinary Arts students. Bridge play will begin at 12:30 and end at 4:00 pm.
Rachel Morrison, Benefit Chairman, expects a large crowd and urges all bridge players to register early. “This is a perfect place to hold this event and tables will be available for both party and social bridge – table groups or individual. I have been involved with the Foundation for a number of years and know how important scholarships and financial aid are to the college. All proceeds from this event will directly benefit students. We hope that all of our area bridge players will come and enjoy themselves while assisting students in their pursuit of life-changing educational experiences. The food is great and everyone always has a wonderful afternoon of bridge and socializing!”
The fee for the party is $30, and $24 of this contribution is tax deductible. All proceeds will go to the Marvin Scobee Memorial GED Scholarship Fund. Reservations may be made by calling 706-754-7714 or emailing [email protected]. The deadline to register is October 15th.
