The daughters of Hugh and Doris Taylor established the scholarship in their parents’ memory
The North Georgia Technical College Foundation has announced a new scholarship established for students enrolled in the Agriculture program at North Georgia Technical College.
The Hugh and Doris Taylor Memorial Agriculture Scholarship has been established through a contribution from Mr. & Mrs. Taylor’s daughters, Kay Taylor Powell and Carol Taylor Parker. The sisters grew up on the Taylor family’s farm located just north of the college’s Clarkesville campus and believed an agriculture scholarship would be a fitting way to honor their parents’ memory.
Any student enrolled in the Agriculture program who has successfully completed at least one semester and has a demonstrated financial need is eligible to apply for the $500 scholarship. Applications are available online or by calling 706-754-7714 or emailing [email protected].
