Applications are now being accepted for scholarships administered by the North Georgia Community Foundation (NGCF). The deadline for area high school seniors, current college students, and non-traditional students to apply is March 15, 2019.
“As the Foundation has experienced substantial growth in the past few years, scholarship funds have been greatly impacted and I think this is a great example of our donors’ desires to pour into the next generation,” says Michelle Prater, President & CEO of the North Georgia Community Foundation.
The 2019 round will offer seven new scholarship opportunities along with previously established funds.
Each scholarship fund is established by an individual donor or association and has its own specific purpose and eligibility criteria. Awards vary yearly in quantity of scholarships available and amount awarded for each scholarship.
