400 million N-95 masks are in the process of being shipped to regional retail pharmacies in the United States under the Biden Administration’s initiative to provide Americans with free masks.
The N-95 mask is regarded as the best mask for keeping the transmission of the COVID-19 virus low, and will be available to individuals at no cost. Stores should have masks in stock by early February, with many receiving them by Friday, Jan. 28.
N-95 masks will be available at many retail stores that have offered the COVID-19 vaccine. Some of those retail locations in the Northeast Georgia region include:
- CVS: Dates unknown, by early February
- Ingles: Dates unknown
- Kroger: Available Friday
- Publix: Dates unknown, by early February
- Walgreens: Available Friday
- Walmart: Available Friday
These retail locations will have masks available at the front of the store and are limited to three masks per person.
