According to Police Chief Jamie Bowden, this is the same system that Georgia State Patrol, Cornelia, and Hall County Sheriff’s Office uses for their enforcement efforts. Bowden explained to the council that with this system there will be no recurring annual fees when compared to other systems.
The most recent quote presented to the town council was $6,000 to $9,000 less than the two previous quotes presented at last month’s council meeting. Also, the two quotes submitted had a recurring annual fee. The council tabled the matter at last month’s council meeting.
