Mike Mixon has been reappointed to the State Board of Accountancy. Mixon is a certified public accountant and the managing partner of Mixon, Mixon, Brown & Tench, CPAs in Clarkesville.
He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Georgia Society of CPAs. Mixon is the chairman of the Audit and Compliance Committee of Southern Bank & Trust. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Management from Georgia Southern University.
Mixon and his wife Nancy, have two children and two grandchildren. They live in Clarkesville.
