Mildred Catron Bunting

A Celebration of Life service will be held for Mildred Catron Bunting in Orlando, Florida at Woodlawn Memorial Park and Funeral Home on August 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.

Mildred passed peacefully at home on July 29, 2016. She was 94 years of age, born May 21, 1922 in Rural Retreat, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late James Franklin Catron and Josephine Leonard Catron. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by seven brothers and five sisters, as well as her loving husband of 44 years, Raymond C. Bunting.

Mildred was a dedicated, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church of Clarkesville. She loved the Lord. After retirement in 1979 with 22 years of service as a Supervisor of Accounting at Southern Bell Telephone, she enjoyed cooking, serving, spending time with her grandchildren, reading and attending Bible studies.

Mildred leaves behind a daughter, Helen Smith, a son-in-law, Jim Smith, granddaughter Sarah Smith and grandson Zachary Smith of Longboat Key, Florida, one surviving brother, Kermit Catron of Virginia, and many nieces and nephews.
