Michele Nicole Thompson, age 37, of Gainesville, entered heaven Thursday, January 19, 2023, with her loving family by her side.
Nicole was born in Gainesville on August 19, 1985, to Leon Thompson & Michele Shanahan Pitts. She was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a wonderful daughter, mother & sister. Growing up being the oldest, she would help raise and take care of her siblings, whom she loved dearly. She also was a great mother and loved her children with everything within her. Nicole was loved deeply and will be missed by all who knew her.
Left to cherish precious memories, father, Leon Thompson; mother, Michele Pitts; children, Sharlee Watson, Tristyn Watson & Avary Watson; sister, Tiffany (Jayson) Smith; brother, Dwight Thompson; sister, Lexy Thompson; brother, Troy (Megan) Thompson; grandmother, Martha Fultz; grandfather, Tony Tapp; nieces, Karis & Fancy; best friend, Kristen Perdue; a host of family and friends also survive.
Services honoring Nicole will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 23, 2023, at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Norris, Rev. Donnie Hicks & Rev. Joey Fortner officiating. She will be laid to rest at Alta Vista Cemetery in Gainesville. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Monday, January 23, 2023, at the funeral home.
