Ms. Mercedes Brittany Brackett, 28, of Gainesville, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020, in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Dawn McQueen will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 12, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on September 18, 1991, in Gainesville, she was the daughter of Jerry and Denise Rider Brackett. She was a caretaker and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her mother and father, Ms. Brackett is survived by her sister, Brook Sullens of Murrayville; best friend, Monique Payne of Gainesville; grandmother, Genell Thomas of Cleveland; nephew, Mason Brackett of Gainesville; niece, Brooklyn Sullens of Gainesville and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
