Meet ‘The Count’

The Count is a dashing doggy with a heart as warm as a cup of cocoa on a winter’s night. This 2 to 3-year-old mutt landed on the doorstep of Habersham County Animal Shelter back in October, seeking solace and a loving family.

In the shadow of the holiday season, where joy usually reigns, The Count’s story takes a poignant turn. No one has stepped forward to give him a home.

This regal rover has undergone the transformation of a lifetime – he’s been neutered, vetted, and is now ready for same-day adoption.

The Count is well-socialized and plays well with other dogs and children.

Let’s rewrite The Count’s story. In a world that often favors the pursuit of puppyhood, consider opening your heart and home to this lovable pal. Together, you and The Count can count shared moments of joy and the infinite love that comes from adopting a dog like him.
