Massage Therapy Classes and LEGO Camp at NGTC

(CLARKSVILLE) — North Georgia Technical College’s Continuing Education Department announces two upcoming classes for the community during May and June.
A Massage Therapy class is scheduled from 10 a.m. -12 p.m., Saturday, May 28, at the Clarkesville Visual Arts Building, classroom 240. Adults who are interested in learning more about effective methods of massage are invited to join licensed massage therapist and certified meditation instructor Crystal Wheeler who will be the class instructor. Cost to register is $20 for individuals or $35 for couples. Participants in the Massage Therapy class should wear loose, comfortable clothing and avoid eating a heavy meal before the workshop.

The annual Lego Engineering Camp and Junior Camp are scheduled at the following times and campus locations: June 6-9 at Blairsville, June 13-16 at Currahee and June 20-23 at Clarkesville. Each camp provides creative projects that involve learning and fine tuning motor skills while having fun. Hands-on instruction for different age groups allows children to actively work at their appropriate skill level. Children ages 6-8 years old may register for Lego Engineering Junior Camp and children ages 9-12 may register for Lego Engineering Camp, both of which are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration fee is $125 per child.
