While fall begins creeping in, the summer garden bounty continues. Most farmers’ markets will stay open thorugh September. Be sure to shop with them for the very best in locally grown, all natural goodness. As a side note, there are lots of great craft items at the market as well. Start looking for Christmas gifts, teacher gifts, birthday gifts. Who wouldn’t want a locally handmade bag from “A Frayed Knot?” Great jams and other great jarred items make great gifts as well. Keep everyone clean with all the great all natural goods from “Pure and Simple” soaps and more are always welcome. So see you at the market.
As a special note, our friends at wrwh in White county have shared infomation on the White county Farmers’ market. Shop one or shop all the markets!
White County Farmers Market is open Saturdays at Freedom Park in downtown Cleveland. The market begins at 7 AM and features locally grown vegetables and fruits along with plants and crafts, handmade jewelry, jams and jellies, breads, cakes, cookies and pottery.
