Marianne Thul Gallimore, age 86, of Alto, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.
Born in Kaiserslautern, Germany, on March 18, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Hans, Sr. & Paula Barbera Scherer Thul. Marianne was a manager for The Army & Air Force Exchange Service for over 30 years. She made Ozark, Alabama her home for many years before moving to Alto, Georgia, 4 years ago. Marianne attended Wiley Church of God.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, William L. Gallimore; brother, Hans Thul, Jr.; & grandson-in-law, Glenn Bolin.
Survivors include her daughters & son-in-law, Monika & Ray Nix of Alto, GA; Sandra Renee Gallimore of Huntsville, AL; sisters, Karin Kupczak & Nina Kupczak, both of Germany; grandchildren, Johnathan & Cinda Demuth of Panama City, Florida; Jennifer & Matthew Lawrence of Sebring, FL; Libby & Greg Smith of Suwanee, GA; great-grandchildren, Emmy Bolin, Carter Smith, & Claire Smith; other relatives & friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2023, at the V.F.W. Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Adam Wright officiating.
