Mrs. Margie Loudermilk Nichols, age 85, of Alpharetta, GA, formerly of Mt. Airy, GA, passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2020, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Nichols is the daughter of the late Daniel and Rosa LaCount Loudermilk. Mrs. Nichols retired from Colonial Food Stores after many years of service. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and was an active member of Yaarab Shrine Temple Ladies Auxiliaries.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Nichols was preceded in death by brothers, Garrison, Hillard, Homer, Russell, Haskell, and James Loudermilk; sisters, Ellene Perry, Wilma Edmonds, Dorothy Lathan, Viola Williams, and Eunice Smith.
Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Grady Nichols, children Terrill (Rhonda) Nichols of Alpharetta and Renee (Steve) Baiocco of Johns Creek, grandchildren Bridget Nichols (Tony) Atchison of Atlanta, Brandon Nichols of Alpharetta, Joey Baiocco of New York City and Alex Baiocco of Washington, DC., and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, October 10 at 11:00 am at Hillside Memorial Chapel and Gardens, 5495 Highway 197 South, Clarkesville, GA. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am.
