An Athens man is facing homicide charges after police say he was driving while impaired before a fatal multi-vehicle accident in December.
Authorities say John Orchard, 30, was the driver of the Toyota MR2 that was involved in a Dec. 17 multi-vehicle collision.
After warrants were issued on Jan. 21, Orchard was located by the Clarke County Sheriff’s Office, arrested and charged with felony homicide by vehicle in the first degree, driving under the influence and following too close.
