Macklen-Jace Eli Alexander

Mr. Macklen- Jace Eli Alexander, age 17 of 5644 Brookhaven Circle, Martin, Georgia passed away Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Stephens County Hospital from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

A son of Stephen Alexander and Shameka Scott, he was born May 15, 2000 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived most of his life. He lived in the home of his grandparents, Charles and Jewell Alexander.  He was a rising senior at Stephens County High School and was employed with Tractor Supply.  He was a member of the Stephens County High Football and Wrestling Teams.  He enjoyed dirt bikes, fishing, 4-wheelers, dancing and social media.

Survivors include his parents, Stephen Alexander and Shameka Scott; grandparents, Charles and Jewell Alexander of Martin and Rev. David Scott and wife Quilla of Toccoa; brothers, Jacob Alexander, Jeremiah Scott, and Eustavious Scott (Poo Pat) all of Toccoa; sister, KeeMiya Walton of Toccoa; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 5, 2017, 2 O’clock P.M. in the Stephens County High School Auditorium with Mr. Frank Barden, Mr. Rob Stowe, The Reverend Scott Alexander and The Reverend David Scott officiating.

The family will be at the home on Brookhaven Circle and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Monday, 2 P.M. until 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. until 8 P.M.  Online condolences can be made at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Flowers are optional and memorials can be made to a scholarship that will be set up at a later date in memory of Mr. Macklen-Jace Eli Alexander.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and should assemble at the funeral home by 1:15 P.M., Dillon Nix, Jackson Bell, Malik Feaster, Gavin Walker, Hassan Brown, A.J. Howard, Tyler Edmonds, Clayton Dykhouse, and Mason Kimsey.  Honorary pallbearers will be the Stephens County High School Football and Wrestling Teams, the Banks County High School Football and Wrestling Team, Tucker Miller and Cohen Miller and should assemble at the High School by 1:30 P.M.

Interment will follow in the Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery with The Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Macklen-Jace Eli Alexander.
