A Lula man has been charged with multiple counts of child molestation in Habersham County, according to the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office.
Christopher Alan Posten, 35, was charged with aggravated child molestation and aggravated sodomy, both felonies, following an incident that allegedly occurred in Mt. Airy in October of 2024, according to police.
According to a police report of the incident, authorities were alerted to the alleged sexual abuse by a student at a local elementary school.
Posten was arrested on Feb. 14 and is accused of sexually abusing an adolescent victim, according to authorities.
The investigation remains ongoing.
