Louise Palmer Thomas, age 95, of Demorest, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 30, 2022.
Born in White County, Georgia on April 07, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Walter & Oma Hicks Palmer. Louise retired from Piedmont Automotive with over 35 years of dedicated service. In her spare time, she enjoyed farm life, working in her yard, vegetable gardening, tending to her flower beds, watching folks bail hay and watching the cows. Most of all, Louise loved her family & friends dearly. She was a member of Return Baptist Church where she previously taught the Tiny Tots Sunday School Class for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hughes Thomas; sisters, Nellie Elrod & Betty Pardue; and a brother, Charles Palmer.
Louise was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Survivors include her son, J.W. Thomas of Demorest, GA; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, & friends.
Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 01, 2022 at Return Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Clifford Allen officiating.
