Lola Mae Hensley Robertson Colston, age 98, of Alto, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015.
Mrs. Colston was born August 15, 1916 in Tiger, Georgia to the late Alice Reagan and Samuel Hensley. She was a homemaker and a member of B.C. Grant Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jesse E. (Sam) Robertson, and Monroe Colston; son, Larry Robertson; two brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in –law, Ruby and Tom Brumbalow of Cleveland, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law John and Shirley Robertson of Alto, Georgia; step-son and spouse, Homer and Jessie Mae Colston, Demorest, Georgia; step-daughters-in-law, Nora Colston of Demorest, Georgia, and Olline Turner of Clarkesville, Georgia; step-grandaughter and spouse, Vickie and Kenny Cochran; step-great-grandaughters, Milan Cochran and Regan Cochran; several step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family.
Graveside services are scheduled for Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at 1:00 PM in the B.C. Grant Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Roy Lee Mitchell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00 PM Monday, March 16, 2015 at Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel in Baldwin, GA.
